This residential complex is located within the limits of the Sintra town council area, between the town of Belas and Vale de Lobos area, about a 20-minute drive from the centre of Lisbon and the tourist resorts of Estoril, Sintra and Cascais. The total area complex is 465 hectares (1,150 acres), and its main natural environmental characteristics have been preserved.
With its excellent variety of holes, the course is a pleasure to play, whatever one's handicap level. It demands both skill and tacticall play and is acknowleged both locally and internationally as one of Portugal's best constructed layouts. Many outstanding holes can easily be remembered even after playing the course only once.
